Russell Brand Warned Not To Mention ‘C***’ Or ‘Scientology’ When He Presents The MTV Music Video Awards!
Russell Brand has reportedly been given strict rules to abide by when he presents this years MTV Video Music Awards.
Russell has been warned by TV bosses that there are specific things he must not say.
Russell said, “I’ve been warned when I’m presenting there are two things I’m never allowed to say.
“One, C***, and two, Scientology.
“There is one sentence that could join both of those words but I’m going to try and not say it.”
Russell has said he is worried he won’t be able to control his tongue. ![]()
He said, “I have a real problem when people tell me not to do something.
“When I was going to meet the Queen of England, the protocol people told me how to bow, not to curtsy and not to speak until I was spoken to.
“But all I could think of was, ‘Grab her t*t.’ ”
Russell also joked that he hates not being famous in America.
He said, “People say you must enjoy it that no one knows you’re famous in America but I hate it.
“Without fame, this haircut makes me look like someone with a mental illness. ![]()
“I want everyone to know who I am.
“I have to carry a laptop around with me so I can explain I am a celebrity.”
“I’ve prostituted YouTube so much I call it MeTube now. I tap ‘R’ into Google and it comes up ‘Russell’ straight away. It is so bored of me.”
Russell Brand has previously worked for MTV, but he was sacked when he turned up for work on 12 September 2001, dressed as Osama bin Laden.
The MTV Video Music Awards will be held in September in Los Angeles.

Russell Brand is well know for his outrageous humour, so it seems odd to me that he was hired to present the MTV Music Video Awards, and then told he can’t say certain things.
What was the point of the organisers employing the comic genius that is Russell Brand if they are going to censor him?
It is ridiculous, and I’m not sure Russell will be able to control his mishchievious instincts either.
Russell should be allowed to be his usual flamboyant, zany, eccentric self, it would definitely be much more entertaining than forcing him to conform to this politically correct nonsense.
