Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda Rose will reportedly inherit his entire estate.

Matilda Rose will inherit her father Heath’s entire estate, which is estimated to be worth £10 million.

Heath’s only will was made in 2003, before the birth of Matilda, since his death it has been probated behind closed doors at the Supreme Court in Perth.
Heath’s will reportedly left half of the estate to his sisters, Kate and Olivia Ledger and Ashleigh Bell.
The remainder was to go to his parents, Kim Ledger and Sally Bell, after any debts had been paid.

It had been reported that Michelle Williams, Matilda’s mother, was concerned that her daughter wouldn’t receive anything from the will, and that she was preparing to lodge an appeal against the court’s ruling.
But Heath Ledger’s father Kim has put an end to the reports revealing that the whole family has agreed on giving the entire fortune to Matilda as a gift.
Kim Ledger said, “There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda.
“That was the plan from the moment my boy passed away.
“There was never any question about the fact that Heath’s estate would go to Matilda. Never a question. “We are very close to Michelle and Matilda.”

Kate Moss is an artist!

Kate painted the self portrait using her own lipstick, inspired by her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty, which went up for sale at the Lyon and Turnbull auction in London on 27 September 2008. The artwork failed to sell at the auction but was purchased after the event by a mystery buyer for £33,600.
Kate painted the picture while she was dating Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty.
As well as Kate’s lipstick the painting features Pete Pete’s blood stains, and a message written in his blood which reads, “who needs blood when you’ve got lipstick”.

A self-portrait by Pete Doherty failed to sell at the auction.
A source said the painting had originally been expected to sell for £40,000.

Helen Mirren is reportedly set to star as Rachel Singer, a former Mossad agent who lies about killing a Nazi war criminal in the 1960’s, in a Hollywood remake of the Israeli film, Ha-Hov, ‘The Debt’.

Dame Helen Mirren will play a character at two points of her life, in her thirties and in her sixties who fails to capture a Nazi war criminal. She and her colleagues decide to cover up the mistakes which led to his escape, only for him to resurface 30 years later.
Helen Mirren’s character then attempts to track him down before the truth is discovered.

The original film was directed by Assaf Bernstein, based on a screenplay he wrote with Ido Rosenblum. Israeli actress Gila Almagor played the role the Helen Mirren will now play.

‘The Debt’ will be directed by John Madden, who worked with Helen Mirren on hit UK TV series Prime Suspect. His previous films include Shakespeare In Love, and Mrs Brown.
Speaking about Helen Mirren, John Madden said, “Helen Mirren is the perfect choice for the central role.”
He described the character as “a formidable and dignified woman grappling with years of emotional disappointment, suddenly confronted by a powerful and unexpected choice”.
‘The Debt’ is written by Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman - wife of Jonathan Ross.
Matthew’s Marv Films and Miramax are producing the movie, which is due to start filming next year in the UK, Germany, and Israel.

Victoria Beckham has reportedly revealed that she wears socks and gloves in bed!

Victoria sleeps naked apart from white cotton gloves and thick socks, which she wears as part of her attempt to halt the ageing process.

Speaking about her nightwear Victoria said, “I put really thick foot lotion on with socks before I go to sleep. I also use thick hand cream with gloves at the same time.
“David thinks I’m loony because I get into bed with gloves and socks on.”

Victoria also admits that she is obsessed with making sure that her eyebrows are in tip top condition.
Se said, “I spend more time on them then I used to. I always thought, ‘Oh, they’re just brows.’ But now I pay attention to them. I brush them and I’m careful not to over-pluck.”

She said, “I’ve done Pilates four times and I’m going to get more into it. I absolutely hate sportswear and I hate flat shoes.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds reportedly married on Saturday 27 September 2008.

Scarlett’s representative confirmed that Scarlett and Ryan tied the knot in a remote resort near Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

Scarlett, 23, and Ryan, 31, were joined by guests including Scarlett’s mother Melanie Sloan and her brother Adrian Johansson at the ceremony.

The news may come as a surprise to some people because only last month Scarlett said she had no intention of rushing into marriage.
She said, “We’re just enjoying our time. We’re just recently, very recently, engaged. So, you know, we’re just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it’s a good time and we’re just enjoying our time to be young and engaged.
“I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.”

Scarlett has also said that her wedding would not be an “awful” lavish bash paid for with a magazine deal.
She said, “I’m a private person, so, obviously, I’m pretty sure our wedding will be as private as possible.”

Scarlett and Ryan had been dating since spring 2007, they first announced their engagement in May, when Scarlett showed off her $30,000 diamond engagement ring at the Met Costume Ball Gala in New York.

Heather Locklear was reportedly arrested and charged with driving under the influence of prescription medication on Saturday night, 27 September 2008.

Heather was stopped at approximately 4.30pm after displaying erratic behaviour while driving in Barbara County, California.

In June of this year Heather checked herself into an Arizona treatment facility to seek treatment for “anxiety and depression”.

Tom Marshall, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol (CHP), said, “Around 4.30pm, a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot.
“The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times.
“The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear’s safety.
“When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway.
“Because Locklear appeared disoriented and impaired, she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered. She was cooperative. Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer’s observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication.”

Heather, 47, was taken to a local jail at approximately 7pm, where she was charged with driving under the influence of prescription medication.
She was released at 11pm on $5,000 bail.

For anyone to drive whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol is outrageous, but for a celebrity to do it is almost beyond belief.
No one has a valid excuse to break the law by behaving this way, and celebrity’s definitely don’t have any excuses because they can afford to get a taxi, or pay for someone to drive them wherever they want to go.
It is purely down to luck that there were no injuries or deaths in this case.
Don’t these people realise the potential damage their actions could cause, and the lives they could destroy?
Unfortunately Heather Locklear is not the first celebrity to be busted for DUI, and sadly she won’t be the last.
There is no excuse.
Shame on all of them.

Paul Newman died on Friday, 26 September 2008, surrounded by family at his home near Westport, Connecticut, after a long battle with cancer. He was 83.

Paul Newman was a truly talented actor who starred in many films including, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Hustler, Hud, Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Drowning Pool, The Color of Money, Mr. & Mrs Bridge, The Hudsucker Proxy, and Road to Perdition.

Paul Newman was a very generous man who give millions of dollars to charities through his food company, and he set up camps for severely ill children.

Paul Newman is survived by his wife, Joanne Woodward, and their three daughters.
He also had two daughters and a son from his first marriage to Jackie Witte, sadly their son Scott died from an accidental drug overdose in 1978.

George Clooney has reportedly been bombarding his ex-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon with flowers and texts.

According to the latest rumours George reportedly hopes to reunite with Lisa after seeing her dancing on the hit UK TV programme ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

A source close to George said, “Prior to the show starting, George sent Lisa a ‘good luck’ text.
“It was the first time they’d had any contact for some time.
“Lisa was pretty amazed but assumed that would be the last of it.
“Instead, after the show George sent her another text which said something along the lines of, ‘Wow!’”

George is reportedly planning to fly to England to watch Lisa dance with her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Brendan Cole.

The source added, “Lisa and Brendan are dancing the salsa this weekend and all eyes will be on them, including George’s.
“He has promised to send a bouquet to her dressing room and the talk backstage is he may make a surprise appearance in London in the coming weeks.
“Now that he’s single, gossip is spreading like wildfire that he wants to woo Lisa back.
“Obviously everyone is desperate for Lisa to stay in the competition. if only for a glimpse of George!”

George and Lisa dated for a year from 2000, before reconciling in 2004.
Their reunion lasted less than 12 months before they split again.

I doubt this rumour is true, (and Lisa hasn’t performed a proper dance yet, the girls have only been on stage for the group dance - the girls first performances are tomorrow night), and I can’t see George sitting watching Strictly Come Dancing but if is it true I think Lisa and George make a really gorgeous looking couple.
If it’s not true then I think George Clooney should date Jennifer Anistion - they would make a perfect couple!
