Billie Piper has given birth to a baby boy.

Billie, 26, delivered her son by caesarean section, after a 26 hour labour, at approximately 1am on Tuesday at the private Portland Hospital in London. The baby weighed 6lb 11oz.
Billie’s husband Laurence Fox, 29, was at the hospital for the birth.

Speaking about motherhood recently Billie said, “For the moment, I’m just going to focus on being a mum and that’s kind of a relief because I don’t have to think about the rest of my career.”

According to reports Billie feared she would give birth in the back of her car as it refused to start when she went into labour.

Laurence Fox said, “He is beautiful. He is sweet.
“It was an emergency Caesarean.
“I’m tired but not as tired as her, no doubt. It was long and hard. She was in labour for more than 24 hours.”

Laurence briefly left his wife’s side to buy a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne, he was wearing a rosette saying ‘Fabby Daddy’ on the left side of his chest.

He also wet the baby’s head with a pint of lager in the Green Man pub across from the Portland yesterday with a group of friends.

When asked the baby’s name Laurence Fox told the press that “it’s a private moment” but he felt “fantastic” becoming a father.
After the birth Laurence was reportedly spotted celebrating the birth of his son with a pint of lager in the Green Man pub across from the hospital, and showing friends baby pictures he’d taken on his mobile phone.

Billie Piper’s ex-hubby Chris Evans was seen arrriving at the hospital carrying lots of presents and he revealed to the press that Billie and Laurence Fox have named their son Winston James Fox?

Chris said of Billie, “She’s very happy and she looks wonderful. She’s really pleased. It’s tears of joy up there.”
He added, “I’ve not been informed if I am a godparent but here’s hoping.
“I got him a tractor. A remote-control tractor. Every little boy needs a tractor.”

After leaving the hospital Chris Evans wrote about the “absolute pure joy” of his first meeting with Billie’s “brand new shiny baby” on his internet diary, which he titled “Winston James Fox, welcome to Planet Earth”.
He wrote, “At the time of writing this, the little fella is not even 15 hours old.
“He is cute as you like and didn’t cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago.
“How cool is life?”

I used to drink in the Green Man when I worked in London, that’s one of the things I miss living here in France - pubs!

Natasha Kaplinsky has given birth to a boy.

Channel Five newsreader Natasha, 36, gave birth to her son at 8.30am yesterday (Thursday 25 September 2008) at a London hospital.
The name of the baby has not yet been released.

Natasha’s hubby Justin Bower said, “We are absolutely thrilled.”

The birth was announced on last night’s Five News.

Natasha’s spokeswoman said, “They are thrilled. Both mother and baby are doing fine.”

Five added, “Her colleagues here are delighted and we have sent our best wishes.”

Former BBC newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky made her debut on Five News in February in a deal reported to be worth £1 million a year.
Her first broadcast attracted one million viewers, almost double the usual audience.
Her move to channel 5 marked the latest in a career that has seen Natasha make an almost complete tour of the British news networks.
Since being picked to present the early morning bulletins at Meridian in 1997, she has worked for ITV London, Sky News, and BBC Breakfast.
She then switched to the Beeb’s Six O’Clock News.

During her time on Strictly Come Dancing, she was linked to her dance partner Brendan Cole but denied there was any romance.

She caused a stir when she moved to Five, to replace Kirsty Young, by admitting that she was not worth her massive salary.

Matthew McConaughey’s and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcome a baby boy, Levi Alves McConaughey.
The baby was born on Monday evening at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles, he weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz, and is the first child for Matthew and Camila.

After his sons birth Matthew reportedly released a statement saying, “A healthy baby boy was born.
“Camila and I were side by side the entire time.
“We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world. Having a child and making a family.
“Now comes the greatest adventure, raising one, together.
“Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person.
“Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.’”

Levi’s middle name is his mother Camila’s last name. Matthew said, “We wanted to incorporate her family name.”

Matthew also gave this message to his fans, “We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’.” Matthew David McConaughey and Camila Maria Saraiva de Araujo Alves

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly planning to adopt again?
According to an insider, Angelina and Brad have apparently decided to adopt a young boy from Ethopia, Africa.
Apparently they want to adopt from the African continent so that their daughter Zahara (who was also adopted from Ethiopia) doesn’t feel singled out or too different.
This adoption is allegedly going ahead despite Angelina being pregnant with twins.
The source said, “Angie and Brad have wanted an African boy for the last couple of years.
“They were initially going to have that adoption follow the addition of Pax last year, but that all changed when Angie got pregnant with twins last fall.
“Angelina was pretty far along in the process of adopting a beautiful baby that captured the couple’s heart when she and Brad got the surprise of their life and found out they were expecting.”

Angelina Jolie, who is reportedly pregnant with twins, is said to be “ecstatic” to be expecting a boy and a girl.

A source said, “They’ll be having a boy and a girl. Because she took fertility treatment to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They’re ecstatic. She can’t wait. Angelina’s out of breath a lot, but she loves every second of pregnancy.”

If this news is true I think it’s wonderful. The Jolie Pitt family will have three sons and three daughters.
Brad Pitt will no doubt be over the moon as he has previously said he wants lots of children, enough for his own football team!

Jamie-Lynn Spears is reportedly expecting a baby boy. This news comes after Jamie Lynn was seen shopping for baby clothes in baby shop Petit Tresor in Los Angeles with her sister Britney Spears, and apparently they were only purchasing blue items. They reportedly bought organic baby blankets by Robbie Adrian, towels, and pyjamas.
A source said that Britney claimed the items were for her sons, but said, “None of the items could have been mistaken for being purchased for the two kids Britney already has.”
Boy, Girl, as long as it’s healthy, I am just excited by yet another celebrity baby!

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony welcome the birth of their baby twins.
Jennifer gave birth to a boy and a girl in the early hours of this morning, at Long Island’s North Shore Medical Centre. The room reportedly has a wooden floor and is furnished with a brown leather couch, and giant TV, had been kept vacant for a fortnight until Jennifer went into labour.
The baby girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. The baby boy was born at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6lbs.
The babies are the first children for Jennifer, Anthony has two sons and one daughter from two previous relationships.
Jennifer Lopez’s manager Simon Fields confirmed the happy baby news saying, “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon.”
It has been claimed that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have sold the rights to the first photographs of the twins for a reported $6m, or £3m, to People magazine. It has also been revealed that the babies will be moving into £60,000 luxury nurseries. According to sources Jennifer has prepared an ocean themed room, with English furniture, and French cots/cribs embellished with hand embroidered bedding for her babies.
No news on the names yet, but I think Ker and Ching are very apt ~ Kerching!

Kerry Katona has revealed she is expecting a baby boy. Kerry has already decided on a name for her son, despite being months away from giving birth. Kerry already has three daughters, Molly aged 6, and Lily aged 4 with ex-husband Bryan McFadden, and one, Heidi aged one, with her present husband Mark Croft. Kerry is currently involved in a custody battle with Bryan McFadden over their two daughters. Kerry said, “I’m so excited that I’m having a boy after all this time. I can’t stop smiling. He’s going to be called Maxwell Mark Croft. Mark loves Max but I prefer Maxwell, but he’ll get shortened to Max so we are both happy. Mark’s over the moon because we had a bet ages ago that if it was a boy, I’d buy him whatever car he wanted.”I suppose that explains the blue Ferrari that was photographed being delivered to their home over the weekend. Kerry says her daughters Molly, 6 and Lilly-Sue, 4 (with ex husband Brian McFadden) are thrilled with the baby news. Kerry and Mark’s son is due in May, and will be Kerry’s last. She said, “That’s it now, I really mean it. We’re having no more kids!”I like the names Maxwell and Max, but they remind me of Kerry’s publicist Max Clifford!
