Paris Hilton has reportedly purchased a former London brothel.
Paris is said to be thrilled with her £850,000 investment. The property is located in the East End of London. Paris said, “It’s just beautiful. It doesn’t have regular rooms but is more like a maze.
“It used to be an opium den and still has iron joists where pirates and thieves were shackled to the wall.”
A source said, “Paris really appreciated the quirkiness of the place, and the knockdown price for such a unique building, and immediately put in an offer.”
Paris, who is currently filming ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BBF (British Best Friend)’ in the UK, has revealed that she has fallen in love with London.
She said, “I love London, it’s my favourite city in the world.
“I’m shooting my new show and having an amazing time.
“I love British people, they rock! Everything from their personalities, style and, of course, the accents.
“I would love to live here one day.”
“I love it here, I am going to move here permanently. I have already been here for one month and am much, much happier here.
“I love guys with English accents.
“I have met a really cute English guy, but it’s early days.”

On Tuesday Kate Moss reportedly chose a glass of fizzy water during a night out at the new Ivy Club in London.
But just one day later Kate was spotted partying tottering about unsteadily in Soho last night (Tuesday 14 October) at the preview of the still-to-be-completed Dean Street Townhouse Club.
A source said, “She’d vowed to not go out as much and now she’s decided to not touch a drop of alcohol unless it’s a special occasion.
“No more champagne during interviews. She’s determined to cut alcohol out of her diet.
“She was reported to have vowed not to touch a single drop of alcohol again unless it was a special occasion.
“Since she has rekindled her love with Jamie she knows these leisurely drinks need to stop.
“Kate is older and wiser now and wants to settle down.
“People may think it’s on Jamie’s orders but, although he is delighted, it is all Kate’s own doing.
“She wants to change her lifestyle.”
Maybe Kate was just tired, or her shoes were too high, which could explain the tottering?
Zac Efron was reportedly attacked by a crazed fan in London, England.
Zac Efron, star of ‘High School Musical’ was leaving the Apollo Theatre with his girlfriend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens on Wednesday evening (8 October 2008) when a middle-aged man lunged at him, prompting his five security guards to intervene.
An onlooker said, “It was pretty scary. No-one knew who this guy was or what he might do. You hear of all sorts of attacks on stars.
“Zac was just walking past when he started ranting at him, then lunged forward pointing at him and tried to grab his hair. It was bizarre.
“Zac looked pretty startled and shaken. Fortunately his bodyguards were there, or God knows what might have happened.”
Zac Efron’s spokesperson said he is putting the incident behind him.
The representative added, “He’s OK. He wasn’t in danger, but he is glad his people were around to step in.
“He won’t let it tarnish his view of London. He’s really enjoyed himself here this week.”
Zac and Vanessa later joined their co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu for dinner at the nearby Floridita restaurant.
A source said, “He was quite relaxed and looked like he was enjoying himself.
“Some of them were dancing to salsa music, so they must have put the scuffle out of their minds.”
The cast were in England promoting ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’, the latest instalment in the Disney film franchise.
Josh Hartnett was reportedly caught on CCTV having sex in a hotel library.
Josh apparently drew the curtains in the library of the Soho hotel in London, England, to ensure a little privacy for himself and his ‘friend’, unaware that their romp was being captured on CCTV.
A source said, “Josh and the girl were getting pretty hot and heavy.
“After stumbling in quite late, they legged it to the library and immediately closed all the curtains so that no one could see in.
“Unfortunately the hotel has security cameras all over the place, the library included.
“Their every spit and cough was recorded and cringing hotel workers saw all of Josh’s X-rated moves.
“No one quite knew where to look and there was a very awkward silence.
“Josh didn’t seem bothered that the library wasn’t locked and anyone could just burst in.
“He just kind of went for it.
“After the event, someone had a quiet word in Josh’s ear and he was asked to take his personal business elsewhere in future.
“Josh took it on the chin and didn’t kick up a fuss. He’s been as good as gold since.”

Victoria Beckham and her two youngest sons, Romeo and Cruz, were reportedly involved in an frightening incident yesterday when their flight from Los Angeles to London was unexpectedly halted.
The passenger jet was taxiing on the runway when a bird flew into one of the engines moments before take-off.
Apparently some of the passengers screamed as the pilot immediately brought the plane to a halt.
Fire crews sped on to the runway and doused the aircraft’s overheated brakes with foam.
A witness said, “We had no idea what was happening and you immediately fear the worst.
“Victoria wasn’t wearing any make-up and had changed into the pyjamas provided by the airline.
“It looked like she kept really calm throughout. She appeared to be comforting Romeo at one point.”
A source said that while the other passengers were escorted off of the plane, Victoria stopped onboard to spruce herself up before she was taken off of the flight separately with her sons and her PA, and a bodyguard, who accompanied her on the Air New Zealand flight. Victoria, Romeo, and Cruz, and their entourage reportedly caught another flight out of LA.
One of the other passengers onboard the flight said, “It was really scary when the pilot suddenly slammed on the brakes. The plane was taxiing down the runway and we were set for take-off.
“We had no idea what was happening and you immediately fear the worst.
“I was sitting a few rows back from Victoria and her sons, who were at the front of the plane.
“Victoria wasn’t wearing any make-up and had changed into the pyjamas provided by the airline.
“It looked like she kept really calm throughout. She appeared to be comforting Romeo at one point.
“I guess she was as relieved as everyone else.
“Who knows what could have happened if the bird had flown into the engine a few seconds later, after take-off.
“Young children were crying and for a moment I feared it was going to turn into a scene from a disaster movie.”
An Air New Zealand spokesman said no one was injured.
He said, “A bird flew into one of the plane’s engines just as it started its take-off roll.
“The engine is being looked at.”
Russell Crowe is moving to London, England, for the next six months. Russell has rented a large house in London’s Mayfair at a cost of £20,000 a month.
The property is set over three floors, and has a swimming pool.
A source said, “Russell is coming over to Britain filming and wanted somewhere comfortable for his family.
“The house became available after a celebrity couple pulled out of renting it.”
Russell will be filming his new movie Nottingham, which is a love story based on the story of Robin Hood. Sienna Miller is reportedly playing Maid Marion.
Ridley Scott will direct the new flick.
As Russell has a reputation of being a tough guy, maybe he can succeed where the British government has failed and tackle the problem of violent knife crime on the streets of London?
During his breaks from filming, Russell could hit the streets and put a stop to the almost daily occurrance of injuries and deaths from stabbing related attacks, that are ruining so many peoples lives?
Josh Hartnett is reportedly set to tread the boards in London’s West End by appearing in a stage adaptation of the film Rain Man. Josh will play the role of car dealer Charlie Babbitt, played by Tom Cruise in the 1988 film.
Speaking about the role Josh said, “It has always been my intent to work on the London stage.
“While I’ve had many opportunities, it was only when I read the complex and charismatic character of Charlie Babbitt that I knew the time was right.
“I feel very fortunate to make my London bow with such an esteemed producer and director and I’m also looking forward to working with Adam Godley, who is an extraordinary talent.
“Can’t wait to live and work in London, a city I adore!”
The play also stars British actor Adam Godley as Josh Hartnett’s autistic brother Raymond, played by Dustin Hoffman in the film.
The play is written by Dan Gordon and directed by David Grindley, whose stage credits include Abigail’s Party, Pygmalion, and Journey’s End.
Nica Burns, Jane Walmsley, Michael Braham, and Max Weitzenhoffer are on board as producers for the stage version of Rain Man, in association with MGM On Stage, Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber.
Nica Burns said the team behind the show are “very excited”. He continued, “Josh was our first choice for the role from day one. He hasn’t done stage work for a while, because he has been so popular on film.”
The plays runs 28 August to 20 December at the Apollo Theatre. A press opening is expected for 9 September.
This plays is definitely worth a look, if only to see the gorgeous Josh Hartnett in the flesh.

You can barely see Britney, but if you look hard enough it is possible to make her out, you get a very brief glimpse of her!
Flying by private jet, that’s definitely the only way to travel.
Kelly Brook and Billy Zane ended their engagement a few weeks ago, and now they have been seen dining out together in London.
Kelly reportedly cut short a holiday with her girly friends to fly from Cornwall to London, and Billy flew in from a film set in South Africa, so they could meet up.
This has inevitably fueled reports that may be rekindling their romance.
Billy Zane was reportedly seen buying roses and chocolates prior to the meal, in an attempt to woo Kelly back?
Sources claim Kelly and Billy dined at a Thai restaurant, and then spent the night at a hotel in West London.
A diner at the restaurant said, “Kelly was giggling and looked very happy. She kept touching his arm.”
Yesterday they were seen visiting their £1 million farmhouse in Kent, England, before they returned to the hotel.
An onlooker said, “Billy looked like the cat that got the cream.
“But she seemed to be teasing, it looked like she was keeping him on his toes.”
Kelly originally ended their four-year relationship saying that she felt she was too young to get married.
But apparently now Kelly is telling her friends, “He’s the one.”
They may be getting back together, they may not, maybe they are just good friends, or maybe they were both hungry.
Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly had the letter ‘C’ tattooed on her hip, to show her commitment to hubby Chris Martin.
There have been rumours of marriage problems between Gwyneth and Chris because they have been spending a lot of time apart. Maybe this story will end the speculation?
Gwyneth got her new ink at the Zulu tattoo parlour last Thursday in Selfridges, Oxford Street, London. She apparently spend an hour deciding what tattoo to get by browsing through a catalogue of letters and Roman numerals, before opting for the £60 tattoo on her hip.
Tattooist Steve Flannery spent 20 minutes on the design for a “nervous” Gwyneth. He said, “At first she was thinking about having a tattoo on her arm, but then decided that this might affect her acting work. In the end she decided on the top of her right thigh, and joked that Chris would have fun finding it. I asked her if the C stood for Coldplay, but she said it was definitely a C for Chris. Compared to some designs I do, this was discreet and subtle, to say the least.”
Zulu confirmed, “Gwyneth came in last week. But we don’t comment on the work that clients have done. A lot of celebrities have visited us.”
Sound like tattoo artist Steve Flannery is unaware of the department stores policy of not commenting on their clients.
Bruce Willis is reportedly set to lay down some roots in England. He has apparently viewed a £30 million luxury apartment on Park Lane, Mayfair, London.
Bruce has his girlfriend Emma Heming were recently papped as they dined at The Ivy in Covent Garden.
A source said, “Bruce loves London and is looking for a luxury apartment to stay in when he is over here. He’s also a shrewd cookie and is looking for a good investment, so is prepared to splash the cash. He has already been shown a six-bedroom penthouse in Mayfair, worth a whopping £30 million, which shows how much he’s willing to spend. Bruce has fallen for Emma big time, and wants her to have her say in where he buys. He is in it for the longterm with her, and is showing her his commitment by taking her advice in all his big decisions. He has enjoyed the bachelor lifestyle for a good few years but thinks the time is right to settle down.”
If Bruce wants to have any privacy he shouldn’t dine at the Ivy, the food there is nothing special and there are far better places to dine in London without being surrounded by paparazzi.
Kate Moss reportedly has a pair of skeletons in the entrance hall of her home in London.
Apparently the skeletons are arranged in the horizontal missionary position.
An insider said, “Kate was given them by a friend. She absolutely loves them and finds it hysterical when visitors get freaked out. They’re the first thing you see when you enter the house, guests actually have to walk around them to get anywhere. There’s simply no avoiding them. We’re expecting she’ll start toying with positions next, arranging the bones in a variety of Kama Sutraesque ways.”
Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie have reportedly bought themselves a pub.
The pub they purchased for a reported £2.5million is The Punchbowl in Farm Street, Mayfair, London paid.
A friend of Madonna’s said, “She absolutely adores the pub. They pop in regularly to get away from it all. Madonna loves the beer and Guy meets all his pals down there. They have been desperate to own this place for a long time and have been making offers on it for ages. Now it has finally happened. It’s only around the corner from their West End home. She will be the most glamorous landlady alive. Guy winds her up by calling her Bet Lynch, like the Coronation Street barmaid. They both just crack up at the idea.”
The Punchbowl was built in the 1750’s and is apparently the second oldest pub in Mayfair. It was owned by Madonna and Guy’s friend Greg Foreman, the son of former Kray twins gangster Freddie Foreman, and is a popular watering hole for many stars including Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Babara Windsor.
Madonna and Guy have been regular punters there with their friends Kelly Brook and Vinnie Jones. Madonna apparently likes to sit at the bar watching sport on TV.
A source said, “The sale of the pub went through and the previous owners were offered a huge sum of money for the freehold. It has everything Madge and Guy want, A-lister regulars and a tough edge with the Foreman connection.”
Freddie Forman said, “It’s great news. Madonna and Guy are a lovely couple and I’ve met them a few times at the pub. It’s a gorgeous place. Guy likes to have a pint and watch Arsenal”
Madonna and Guy are reportedly thinking about turning The Punchbowl into a gastro pub or a private members club.
If that’s true, it’s a shame, another proper pub bites the dust!
My hubby and I know the Punchbowl well, although the last time we drank there was probably about ten years ago, it was on the same night that we went to the Film Premiere of The Tichborne Claimant.
Owning a decent pub is a very expensive luxury, and serious hard work, not that Madonna and Guy have to worry about that.
